Update...

So I realise I haven’t written a blog post in a while, apologies for that! I have been super busy recently but I hope to be able to blog more often in the near future.

Here’s some of the things I have been up to in the last 4 months:
__________

Back in May, myself and my sisters ran the 'Rainbow Run' to raise money for Children's Hospice South West, a charity that cares for children with life limiting/threatening conditions and provides hospice care for them and their families.
During the 5k race we were showered in different coloured powder paint, it was great fun!
We managed to raise over £200 for Children's Hospice South West which I am so pleased about!

Towards the end of May I was lucky enough to receive tickets to one of the Britain’s Got Talent Live Semi Finals! *Happy Dance*
I got to see some incredible acts perform and also meet some of them.
I was also lucky to be given seats in the second row, right behind the judges.
So close to the judges and stage! Eeeeek!
During the advert breaks the judges turned around and interacted with the audience members which I loved! David Walliams and Alesha Dixon signed photos for me, my friends and I were invited to the judge’s desk by Amanda Holden and I had a stare off with Simon Cowell.

Hey there Simon Cowell...
I also had the pleasure of meeting Olly Murs and Sinitta!
Alright Olly Murs?!?
I had such an amazing time! Fingers crossed I am lucky enough to go again next year!

__________

In June I attended the Chime For Change Concert near London. It was a global concert event which aimed to promote and raise awareness of education, health, justice for girls and women everywhere. In other words…put women’s rights in the spotlight.
The concert was part of Gucci's new global campaign for girls' and women's empowerment, and it was broadcast across six continents to over 150 countries.

Headlining the concert was the one and only Beyoncé. Her performance was incredible, had me up out of my seat dancing and singing.
Queen Bey!
Quotes from Beyoncé on the night:

'This is such an incredible night for all of us. Because of you all, we have raised more than $4 million.'

'Women's rights, it's something that has always been something close to my heart. I know now being a mother it is really important that I can do what I can and use my voice.’

'There are women around the world that don't have a voice so we have to use our voices and raise awareness and be part of something where we can leave a legacy and help improve this world.'

There were also amazing performances from Florence and the Machine, Ellie Goulding, JLo, Mary J Blige, Jessie J, Haim, Timberland, Simon Le Bon, Jay Z, Iggy Azalea, John Legend and Rita Ora.

Madonna and Ryan Reynolds were among those giving inspiring speeches.

I have recently got back from a holiday in America. We visited New York and Washington DC. I had an absolutely amazing time and I thoroughly recommend visiting both these cities.
